The Saint Raphael Angel Corps
Home Visitation
Parishioners will visit and pray with you, share the Eucharist, and serve as a listening presence. Parish priests are also available for the Sacraments of Anointing of the Sick and Reconciliation.
Hospital Ministry
Trained ministers of care will bring comfort and reassurance to you during your stay at Edward Hospital . They are available to talk, listen, pray and share the Eucharist.
Nursing Home Ministry
Parishioners will visit with residents of Manor Care Nursing Home and provide spiritual and social support. Trained volunteers will lead communion services and distribute the Eucharist to residents.
Funeral Luncheons
Registered parishioners may request a buffet luncheon at St. Raphael immediately after a funeral Mass for their loved one. Members of our faith community are "on call" to prepare side dishes and bring them to the Church, or to help serve the lunch. There is no cost to parishioners for the luncheon.
Prayer Blanket Ministry
Parishioners will sew a lap-sized blanket and enclose a prayer citing, "You are Covered in Prayer." Blankets will be distributed to parishioners or friends and family of parishioners who are hospitalized or suffering a long-term illness. Recipients will also be remembered in prayer by the Friday Morning Prayer Group.
CARE-Pooling Ministry

Rides and Errands
Parishioners will take you to a doctor's appointment, pick up a prescription for you, and run small errands for you. This service is provided to anyone who is in need of assistance due to illness, hospitalization, etc.
