Faith Formation
To foster a life-long, intergenerational learning and teaching community that is being formed, converted and transformed into followers of Jesus who reflect Christ to the world:
Learning who the Lord is in our lives. Living according to what we have learned. Growing in faith, hope and love. Accessing and promoting opportunities to learn about our Catholic faith. Engaging in prayer and worship. Participating in ministry. Passing on our beliefs, values and traditions. Discerning Christ's presence and actions in the world. |
Leadership
To focus our collective wisdom on cultivating Catholic lay leaders for ministry in the church, the secular world and the home:
Affirming each Christian's call to the mission of salvation Assisting parishioners in identifying their gifts. Actively inviting members of the community to consider specific forms of ministry or leadership Identifying and providing opportunities for parishioners to develop leadership skills for ministry Mentoring prospective leaders for ministry, Committing adequate resources to the task of ministry and leadership formation Considering the wisdom of all in decision-making processes.

Stewardship
To embody the true spirit of stewardship as modeled by Christ, living together as faithful, wise and responsible stewards of all of the gifts God entrusts to us:
Acknowledging that everything that we have and are is a gift from God Developing a spirit of gratitude. Discerning honestly how we are called to use the many gifts God has given us (gifts of time, talent, treasure, ministry, the Gospel). Becoming responsible consumers, using material goods wisely. Respecting the environment and all of God's creation. Recognizing and responding to our solidarity with the poor and oppressed. Embodying stewardship as a way of life in our homes, parish, community, workplaces and world |
